  • Introduction

We are committed to providing a fun, engaging, and educational experience for all students. This handbook provides important guidelines to ensure that students and parents are informed of their responsibilities throughout the school year.

  • Our School's Mission

"We are dedicated to creating future leaders." At GokTurk English Kids, we strive to help students develop strong communication skills and confidence in English, preparing them for future success.

  • School Rules & Expectations

    Attendance & Punctuality
Students must arrive on time for each class. Punctuality is essential to avoid disrupting the lesson and to ensure full participation in class activities. If your child is going to be late or absent, please inform the school as early as possible. Multiple unexcused absences or chronic lateness may impact your child’s progress.
Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time.    Students arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to wait until the next session.
    Materials & Preparation
Every student is expected to bring their school materials to every class. This includes textbooks, notebooks, pencils, and any assigned homework or projects. Being prepared ensures that students can fully participate in lessons and not fall behind.
Required materials: All students must bring their books, notebooks, and writing utensils to every class.    Homework must be completed and submitted on time.    Please label all personal items with your child’s name.
    Communication & Appointments
Parents who wish to speak with teachers or the school principal must book an appointment in advance. This ensures that teachers can give you their full attention and have time to discuss any concerns. Appointments can be made through the school office or the online scheduling system.
Parent-Teacher meetings must be scheduled ahead of time.    Emergency meetings can be arranged in case of urgent issues.
    Behavior & Conduct
We foster a positive and respectful learning environment for all. Students are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times. Disruptive behavior, bullying, or disrespect will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
Students should raise their hands before speaking during class.    Respect for others' opinions is encouraged in all classroom discussions.    No physical or verbal bullying is allowed. Any incidents must be reported immediately to the teacher.
Health & SafetyYour child’s safety is our top priority. We maintain a clean and safe environment and follow all health and safety guidelines. If your child has a medical condition, allergies, or requires medication, please notify the school office in writing and provide the necessary documentation.
Sick Policy: If your child is unwell, please keep them at home to prevent the spread of illness.    Emergency Procedures: We regularly conduct safety drills and have a clear plan in place for emergencies.
